Five good things, One bad thing

As I mentioned before, I lead a study group for first year students at school.  One of my favorite activities is to go around the room and have everyone share a couple "good things" that happened in their week and one "bad thing"  I believe this keeps a very stressful situation, law school, in a positive light.  With this in mind, I think it is time for me to up the ante and blog about five good things to counteract recent rough spots.  In the process I also get to complain about one bad thing.

I am being honest when I say that adjusting to the new daycare schedule, the terrible weather, the busiest semester at school, and a recent plumbing backup have all been a little rough.  So, obviously, I was none too pleased to discover this at five o'clock this morning:

Shit
Well, at least it only hit the corner of the house.  Such a large limb could have ruined the entire roof or worse.  We will chalk this up to minimal damage that thankfully is not devastating.  I wonder if any other limbs fell...
(Biting Fist) $@#*&%!
Thankfully everyone is okay, insurance will eventually fix everything, and a comrade was nice enough to drive me to school.  By the way, this was the one bad thing.  Seriously, it sucks.

Five Good Things:

1.  Crosby Jane Proctor cut out much of the bedtime drama and regularly sleeps 10-12 hours a night.

Of course, Crosby does not always sleep.  Sometimes she has to get her Phil on.

2.  Lil' Caesar's New Lunch Combo

The Real Deal?

Truth be told, I have not gotten one of these yet.  I hope and pray that they do a plain cheese option.  If I know lil' C, they will take care of me just like they always do.

3.  Bruce.  The Grapes of Wrath.  Tom Morello shredding.

I have seen them do this live.  I know the original.  But this version from Bruce's latest album is damn near perfect.

4.  Comfortable Sweat Pants

(not pictured)

Laura gave me some Puma sweat pants for Christmas.  I wear them all the time and they are very comfortable.

5.
Even if it is just the Diamondbacks
